Purpose of Shinagawa Tourism Association Back

The city of Shinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, has areas and business entities with different characteristics: Shinagawa Shuku, the first station town on the old Tōkaidō road from Edo city; Tennōzu, redevelopment area on the seaside; Gotanda/Ōsaki/Ōi area potential subcenters; and Togoshi/Nakanobu/Musashi-Koyama area, industrial area where many modern industries started and where are small factories featuring original technologies and flourishing shopping malls. Unique and leading companies in Japan, cultural properties of historical areas and promising properties of the future, all are found in the city.
Hoping that our children and grandchildren, our progeny, will live active and happy lives here after 100 years, we, inhabitants, industries and administration, will work together with enthusiasm and passion utilizing all properties available in Shinagawa and would like to leave a message for them who will live in the far future.
Our objectives are to build up and pass down the town to the future generations delivering our message all over Japan and toward the world.

Message from Shinagawa Tourism Association

Thank you very much for your kind attention and cooperation on Shinagawa Tourism Association.
We are working for promotion of industries in the city giving economic ripple effects and enhancement of dynamism and charms of Shiangawa through a contribution to the town development.
Shinagawa is a historical city with numerous historical and cultural heritages and, at the same time, an information city symbolized by many intelligent buildings.
In the perspective of the 21st century, we are confident that Shinagawa has ambition and immeasurable potential and that significant are our challenges to widely spread charms of Shinagawa inside and outside Japan through tourisms and to develop the area to make the city more attractive and up to date.
We highly appreciate your kind understanding of our objectives and kind supports to our activities.
Sincerely,
Yasuyuki Inoue. Chairman, Shinagawa Tourism Association .
